Who am I?
Cathy Icare —
Fashion designer & entrepreneur
I am Cathy Icare, a fashion designer, self-taught artist, passionate entrepreneur and founder of Pardon Monsieur.
I was born in Paris, the city that awakened in me a love of fashion, elegance, and creative daring. And it was also by growing up immersed in Guyanese culture that my mind opened itself to the richness of stories, knowledge, art, and design.
It was there that I found my first inspirations, and where I took my first steps on the catwalks, discovering the power of expression through clothing.
From a very young age, I explored the artistic world through theatre, fashion shows, competitions and the stage. These experiences shaped my sensibility: that of a woman who understands the impact of an image, the power of a detail and the emotion that a creation can convey.
Today, I infuse this energy into each collection with a clear ambition: to reinvent luxury with character, depth and audacity.
Pardon Monsieur is my language, my voice, my work.
